That last piece, personal development, is new, important, and frequently overlooked. Offering personal development opportunities (a quarterly art class, an offsite educational opportunity, etc.) creates an engaged workforce by showing support and changing mindsets from “I do this because I have to,” to, “I do this because I want to.”
